Maybe someone can explain how a fuel pressure regulator works. I just got done working on the lifter on my engine. I put everthing back and the engine wouldn't start. Pluged her up to the computer and recive only 55. I narrowed the problem down to fuel dilvery. The fuel pump work. I can hear it running and I can turn it on an off with the PC but I only get pressure up to the regulator and I get zero fuel past the regulator. I purchased a new regulator and I still can't get any fuel dilvery past the regulator. How does the darn thing work if it won't let fuel pass by. Does the fuel pump have to overcome it? I havn't tested the pressure of the fuel pump yet. Any help would be greatly appricated.
